Andrew Wyeth "Breakup" 1994. His use of white space has always pleased me. I live in a place where spring breakup is a thing. Wyeth was a talented technician in a time when abstract expressionism was king. He didn't give a darn.

I didnt think anyone really explored that style until much later

One piece that has always stuck to me was this art piece by Native American Artist T.c Cannon called "Epochs in Plains History: Mother Earth, Father Sun, the Children Themselves".



In the summer I took my sister to the National Mueseum Of The American Indian and while there, there was a whole exhibit dedicated to him. His artwork is so riveting,colorful and full of life.

Thats a really unique style , the top half of the 2nd one could be its own painting and i would still be impressed

This is "See You on the Other Side", by Matthew Wong, who killed himself this October:

Matthew Wong, Painter on Cusp of Fame, Dies at 35 (Published 2019)

Mr. Wong, who had Tourette’s syndrome and depression, drew wide acclaim for his first solo show in New York just last year.
