1. If you think there is a likelihood of being caught and saved, it seems like maybe that's what you want. Don't use an attempt to scare people into taking your sadness or depression seriously. Don't use it as a cry for help. You're not 14. You can seek mental health help if that is what you really want.

2. It is better to save some money to check into the cheapest hotel you can find, and do it there with a Do Not Disturb sign on your door. If you have bought all the other stuff - SN, meto, etc - then paying a little extra to make sure you don't waste that stuff - makes sense.

3. Don't let your family have to find you (if possible). It's not good that anyone be the one to find you, but if it's family, you will make them hate living in that house.

4. It is okay to back out and choose to live.

The first point is just wrong, it sounds like something a pro lifer would write. Having the fear of somebody interrupting is understandable as after all we exist in such an anti suicide society where people try and cruelly stop suicide attempts. Suicide requires a lot of secrecy and many people have limited options of places to ctb, for example some people have severe debilitating chronic illnesses and are housebound. If someone has the fear of someone else getting in the way of plans, it doesn't mean they want "help", it means they want to succeed and not be trapped in a cycle of endless suffering.

I am not surprised to see these appear oft, given the rise of exposure the site has had since.
The second point is also wrong; even as a disabled, not everyone has money to their name to be able to do that.
