Does your family know about your will to die?

I've never been suicidal, they know I feel bad, I told them that I would prefer to die then to live like this. But they think it's not serious.

One time when I took an overdose at school, my dad told the school nurse " She does this when she doesn't get her way." Instead of being concerned about me and showing me love and support, he gets pissed off because I make him look bad.

Yes, but I've talked about it for so many years that I don't think they take it serious anymore . I try to prepare them for it happening one day but they won't listen

Yeah they have been aware, some ignore it I think... fantasise there's some other problem... or think it's merely 'focusing on negativity' rather than being objective about reality.

They aren't there for me, they did know... they could know more... people in my life just are a bit lacking in emotional substance (they are surface people).

No, they don't know they will never know until I finally CTB. I just don't want them to think they could have "saved" me. I'm not sure if it's the right decision but i'd rather have it be a surprise.

5 years ago i was regarded something like a "golden boy" and as a sucesfull one... and now im in this fucked up situation. Thats fucking sad for my family.

ive told my sister somewhat but i dont think shes aware how severe it still is. i cant tell anyone else in my family any of my feelings at all without getting the reaction of it just making them uncomfortable and like theyd rather just not hear it. every time ive tried, i get treated like im a crazy person whos overreacting and just needs to "move on". but they wont help me with the "how". so, no. theyre really not.

My wish to die is just my personal feelings towards existence, I don't see why it would be anybody else's business, and it isn't like being open about it will mean that peaceful, reliable ways to die like Nembutal become available.

My family are aware of my desire to CTB. They are tolerant to the extreme. They even know of my secret stash of SN. Fortunately, my mum, in particular, is in favour of euthanasia, so she is comfortable with the SN.

No, they've seen signs which momentarily worried them but all they did was shove religion down my throat and told me to go to church more, which honestly did more harm than good for me, so I refuse to tell them anything more.
