• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

i feel like when people choose when they want to get married, the date is special

how about for your circumstances?

a date that i chose reflects the date when i was born, i dont know thought it was cool looking.

does your date to leave this world have any significant reasoning behind it?

Ive chosen my birthday. The beginning and the end ... no sense people remembering on more than one day.

The first was going to be the weekend before my birthday, now I have two, the last will be the day that the person I love decided to take the bus without me.

For me, it's a little further out. More of a time frame than a specific date. I know this may sound stupid, but it has to do with the weather/season.

I've chosen the same. At least they'll only have one day to mourn.

Although, now that I think about it, I say "they" like anyone will actually care anyway.

You'd be surprised. I recently ran into a former student from over 12 years ago in a store. He thanked me for taking the time to help him learn, and the advice I gave him. He said it helped him get his life on track.

Maybe he won't know when I ctb, but don't think you haven't had a positive impact on some people's lives.

I wish it had it because I chose the day of the anniversary of my fall, of my retirement from the scene, but I don't know if I can make it in time.

I would do it on my birthday too but that would be the biggest adjustment of emotions for my family lol.
One moment we're partying or something and then they find my body :hihi:
I love your reasoning, and I find that very important.

Birthday seems the least selfish day to do it on- that day was mine anyway. Consideration of days in the meantime, should birthday be too far away or inconvenient, always mindful of other special days, celebrations n birthdays etc...

I think that's why many, at this time of year, are thinking of dates in the new year, it being too close to Xmas to not ruin that time of year for anyone that cares.

many of us almost certain that nobody would actually care, but wary in case of messing up but one other person's life after we are gone...

oh the irony :ahhha: :pfff:

I don't have a date in mind. But if I had to choose a time of year I would choose autumn.
