For me, I was diagnosed a while back with a disease which causes my body to fall apart. As a young adult, i'm currently dealing with a plethora of symptoms only expected to grow worse. Fibromyalgia, severe scoliosis, disfigured face, blinding in both eyes, heart defects, the list goes on. And as time goes on I realize things are not going to get better.

Was curious to know some of your situations.

Though I do have a few health issues and things that cause me relatively consistent pain, no, not particularly. My mind is the biggest problem I have.

I have mild cardiomyopathy, but it's definitely not the reason why the world doesn't satisfy me

I'm also leaving for health related reasons. Once you've lost your health, you lose huge chunks of your life. And yeah, most of the time it's not a fixable thing.

I would allot roughly half of my decision to health issues. However, even if I did not have them, I do not think my decision would change. Illness is merely an additional impetus.

The only thing is I have mild acid reflux an sometimes get heartburn and nausea, but that's it. It doesn't affect me wanting to end my life. That's more to do with issues in the head.

I am sorry to hear that you have to deal with all of those issues.

In my country we have a saying: Health is not everything, but without health everything is nothing.
Very true

Yes, frequent urination and erectile dysfunction (i still don't know if it's structural or due to anxiety), but they aren't the only part.

Yes. I really hate my life when I got pain and swollen which it will stay with me at least 3days. Medicine does not help much. I can't imagine, how much more pain I will get when I'm very old. So, it adds up with my other reasons to die.

A minor role. My main reasons are due to mental health issues, though some of the physical health issues do exacerbate that.

Strictly health issues, knowing that there is no solution and the psychological distress of that knowledge.

Yes, my chronic disease is one of the major reasons why I don't want to be here. I'd rather not state the name of the illness, but its symptoms are very painful and affect me 24/7. Everything I eat or drink seems to upset my stomach, and I also have problems with my intestines. I can barely do anything like this, as even just sitting up or standing causes pain. The thought of being like this for the rest of my life is overwhelmingly depressing, and I know that my pain is only going to increase once I get older. As such, it's better for me to leave sooner rather than later.

Doctors tricked me into having surgery I didn't need and left me in severe pain. Cost me my entire life...immediately the career and hobbies and lifestyle were gone...within a few years the relationships were gone as people don't like being around suffering no matter what they promise. I was denied disability, refused any other assistance, ignored by the legal system and loved ones both, and even blamed for it in some absurd revisionist history. I am too exhausted to even be angry about it anymore. Struck me down in my prime and it's been 15 years of hell.

When I got sick everything disappeared also including my family. It hasn't been as long as you but I understand. I'm sorry for your pain

I fear I will lose my sight in the future. I see thousands of floaters everywhere and even flashes of light and sometimes even colored complex geometric patterns. I will die before that happens, but physical health is not my main reason.

Sounds like migraine with aura: neurologist needed. I am going blind, but I can learn brail. What I cannot do is change what is, physical suffering.
I am deeply sorry to hear of your state Nolife. People seem to think that no matter how you live you should be grateful. Not in my opinion.

I am healthy now but future ctb attempts will destroy my health if I survive, so everyone here will eventually be in your situation.

Yeah. If you're sure you'll go blind I hope you don't plan to stay here. Living without light would be hell. Worse than this is being paralyzed. This is the 2nd worst condition one can live in.

Smile...one can still function when blind. You can still alleviate needless suffering, give succor to the sick/injured, food to the hungry, warm clothes to the poor, and shelter to the living. Paralysis, if total, would be the worst for me, but pain, acute, unending pain that zaps every effort to function is a close second, and I want no more. No more neglect, no more suffering...yep.
