In time I started growing inward.

I have a dog, and when he was a puppy he was so tiny. Everything was new to him, he was curious about everything, and so sweet and innocent. He used to jump in my lap when I sat Indian style. Every time someone walked up to him, he'd roll over on his back so they can his belly.
Those few months I was filled with joy.
I still love this dog, but I don't get the feeling of joy anymore.
Maybe its because he had to live with another family member for a bit and I didn't get to see him, maybe its because the glow faded, maybe he's grown and not so curious about everything, maybe its because my depression did get worse.
I don't know, I still have affection for my dog, but just still feel deeply depressed.
What about you? Has your little friend helped you with your depression?
