I was just about to post this, but yes. Crazy how my suicidal ideations vanish when Im drunk. Suddenly, I become so functional and hopeful. Im afraid this will make me an alcoholic tho.

Bro i be too tense and depressed but after a good amount of alcohol im happy af i really feel very open minded and very humoristic i love drinking once in a while

yeah this is so real. i was ready to ctb a while ago, got drunk and that alone made me reconsider for a minute. ig this is what being an acoholic is lol

indeed, it calms me more than any med could (including benzos, which just made me numb and sleepy).
sadly my family doesn't like it at all when i drink, even though it's hardly noticeable when i'm drunk, they don't want me to become an alcoholic I guess, which is understandable. I haven't drank in a while because of that. I'd feel really bad about it but I could consider drinking without them knowing again.

Yes!!! But this is making me miserable because the alcohol price in my predominantly muslim country is so high! Once, I sobered up for 6 months just because of the price, miserable experience. But the moment I drink, I am the happiest and most critical man alive, especially if i got someone with me.

Not exactly, but it helps me get out the pain I keep locked away. I'll feel numb but then I snap back to my reality and cry real hard, like screaming levels. Once I calm down I'll watch movie clips that are funny, eat some food and go crash. Depends on the mindset and life you live I think. Alcohol *IS* a downer though, but in the right circumstances it can make you smile.

No not really. Drinking makes me angry and that is particularly good for when I want to CTB and don't have the courage to carry out the act. Next attempt I will drink a lot to make sure I can carry out my attempt
