I have and believe me I know how bad it is. Found relief when I tolerated Prozac - started at 10mg. ERP therapy really helped too - there are great rates on NOCD - you do half hour - is this why you want to kill yourself.
I do. I have the contamination kind.
But I find it so interesting that you basically did my course of action. I tried ERP. It was a total bust. Then I went on Prozac and I now take the maximum allowed. And the Prozac helped me be able to tolerate enough to try the ERP again. Never heard of NOCD before. I just googled it.
Made a lot of progress, but there is no way in hell it will ever completely go away. I'll be washing my hands 100 times for the rest of my life.
And like OP said, even the things that have gotten better can easily flare up. Any amount of stress will do it for me
