• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

yes. thinking a lot about it recently. there isn't a job that i'm able to do without feeling agony.

of course, some people will tell you that jobs aren't meant to be enjoyable, that you simply have to power through it, and that it's something you HAVE to do in order to contribute to society. otherwise, you don't get any money, and you will be eliminated from society, one way or another.

this is, of course, not an objective reality of being human, but only a reflection of our current societies. hopefully one day we can move past it and accept that none of us were created with equal abilities, and some people are less capable than others. nobody should have to drive themselves to burnout or suicide in order to meet the minimum quota of productivity. sadly, it'll still take a long time until we get there - social programs for those in need are still primarily regarded with jealousy and contempt by those who don't require them.

Very much so, especially now when I'm heavily struggling to find a job in the first place.

...and the most confusing thing about this is that humans continue to voluntarily reproduce in order to perpetuate this bunk system, despite knowing very well how insufferable it is.

I can't work a full time job. It's miserable knowing I will probably never be independent because to afford rent you need to work your ass off in this current economy. It will only get worse in the future so I should just CTB now before it gets to that point.

My working days ended over 4 years ago. I had a great job but when your health goes, so goes the job.

Yeah, I've been working since I was 14 and I'm 29 now. By all accounts I've been very successful but extremely burnt out by the whole thing and could never imagine myself making it another 40 years doing this bullshit every week.

I understand this as well. I feel deeply burnt out already and the thought of doing this without break for the rest of a long lifespan is unbearable. I'm told I have to push through it, but... I don't really want to. I think I'd rather just give up and ctb than deal with a future like that.

All the time. I feel like I'm too stupid and worthless to hold down a job for a long time, especially one that was related to my career. It can take a long time to receive disability benefits here. I'm not sure what else I'm capable of doing, but at this point I don't think I'll be successful

I think this is one of the things that makes me suicidal the most. Thinking of having to work makes me want to throw up a little bit. Maybe if we weren't required to do such grueling hours, or having to try so hard at even getting a chance at being hired, I would have begrudgingly accepted the fact that one would have to work for the rest of their lives. But ofc that's not reality so I'm just here wanting out.

Don't you think it's such a waste of fucking time? To spend 90% or our lives working and working and doing shit you don't want to do, and paying bills and making money... Does not help that there are set fields that will make you good money, and the rest of the fields is basically a big fat fuck you, like the arts or humanities or whatever.

I don't really think I'm lazy because I'm depressed lol. I'm depressed because I'm lazy and no one likes a shitty useless person who doesn't "contribute to society." I didn't even ask to exist yet I'm subjected to all this crap. :pfff:

At now I work in my dad company on house renovations related stuff. And I still feel like Im going on the most low effort like Im a loser and lazy because of not wanting to find antoher job. I also dont have any special skills in that field so often I do simple unexperienced stuff just to do something I guess. Im ashamed of this because I feel like Im always on the lowest effort to live and do things.

Im too scared and lazy to find another job. My bigest fear in life are other humans and generally working. I feel like Im not competent at all and dont have any skills or talents so I can fuck up simple tasks. I was working for a couple of days on gas station and it was a nightmare. So many different people make me so much scared and anyone there were seen that. Im too weak to do some kind of jobs with too much people or with other humans that treat me like a stupid child and make fun of me that Im chaotic and fearful and cant fit anywhere because I guess Im weird alien for everyone.

Most of the humans are the most scary thing in life and generally working. Nothing makes me more scared that much. Humans are the core of evil. And I also feel like some of them :(

Yeah, I've had enough of working. I even do something I sort of enjoy (used to enjoy a lot more,) but I've still had enough. I just want to rest forever.

yeah... the idea that i have to spend a huge % of my life doing something i abhor when this is my first and only chance at life as a human being has never made sense to me. we are the only animals to walk the earth with sentience yet we are the least free to live. it makes no sense. same reason why i've always despised school from a young age save for a few classes here and there that i found enjoyable. i think the luckiest among us are those who have the opportunity to love their jobs.

I have always been a workaholic person and even I felt like working wasn't for me since I had my first job. I would sob as soon as Monday was approaching. My father would tell me I'd get used to it, that it's just the shock of first job, etc.

I did get used to it in a way but that didn't change what I feel. I worked my ass off beyond my 9 to 5 so I could find my dream job, thinking that that would help. It did make it a lot more manageable, I like what I do, but I still feel like I spend too many hours working instead of living. Doing something you enjoy for so many hours, can also make it less enjoyable and I worry that will happen one day...

Regular scolding for the most petty reasons.

Not living out my best life

Feeling that I'm lagging behind compared to everyone else.

I have more than enough of a laundry list to maybe, just maybe exit from life permanently and happily burn in hell.

I just wish I could make the world a better place.

A life spent making some rich prick richer isn't worth living.

I'd be happy to work if I know I was actually making a social impact and improving things.

But I'm not good enough to make a difference.
