Does anybody else just have no energy to even grab or open their pill bottles?

I find some mornings I have to wait a fair bit before I can even get my pills for the morning that help me with everything including pain.

But the pain keeps me from grabbing them!!!! Oh, it's so frustrating. I feel like a lousy POS...

I'm in the same boat, SS. I have been off my meds for 3 days, and I just can't make myself take 'em. They're right here beside me. But, all the effort---to take them with food and then all the other ensuing stuff that needs to be done, it just overwhelms me and thus does not get done. It's incredibly embarrassing and alienating...the inability to just take a few pills. I think I'm going to try to take them with you here for support. :)

You can do it! I just took them after 3 hours of ignoring that they are there. I have nerve damage, so even opening my bottles can be tough some days.

Yes, I managed to grab mine and take them. After hours of debating it, but I did it. You can too!

Yes! I regularly miss them and have to be prompted to take them. Sometimes I spit them out. I don't believe they work anyway.

I take meds for pain, anxiety and depression, meds for heartburn, muscle relaxers. And I take insulin which can also be a pain to take.

Have you been diagnosed with an illness? I've had a lot of physical pain the past couple years and getting a diagnosis has been difficult. I feel like its a tiny bit easier when you know what you have and can treat it. Healthcare in my country is slow and frustrating.

Have you been diagnosed with an illness? I've had a lot of physical pain the past couple years and getting a diagnosis has been difficult. I feel like its a tiny bit easier when you know what you have and can treat it. Healthcare in my country is slow and frustrating.

Severe fibromyalgia, nerve damage and neuropathy issues. My joints hurt as well.. But it's my lower back that's killing me. I get sick very easily too, from just a simple cold, I can end up hospitalized.

I was supposed to go and try and get on disability again today. But you have to be there before 10, and e ven if i get up at 6, i just cant be ready on time. And i never sleep before 2-4 am.

I've had it for quite a few years now, but back in 2015 when I was 18, I was hit by a car as a pedestrian and it just made all of that pain get worse when it didn't have to..

It's so hard.. I just fill out cards and get them dropped off for me. We live close to the building I need to bring it to just in case I have to walk. Disability sucks.

Where I'm from, you can get disability or assistance just by having mental ailments that make working impossible.

Oh, I believe this. I do.. But if I don't take them, I can't get through the day at all. They help me get by just barely. Even then, I'm in agony.

We're all in agony, trust me, life doesn't stop, it keeps going, it has rules and cycles, I'm not talking about "government" rules (even the government doesn't know what they're doing), but life in general, nobody will ever save you from yourself, even if you go live in the north pole, you will take everything with you, unless you deal with it yourself, it's not going anywhere, it's with you like your organs, if one of your organs get sick you can't run away from it, so my advice would be to take some rest, get away from people because they will always judge (that's their favorite thing to do), and take time for yourself, reflect, adapt and go forward if you still can.

That's okay. I have real medical conditions that are ruining my life. Unfortunately, to just stop my pills and rest would be a disaster and I'd likely die.

That's fine. It's my first language and I can barely speak it most of the time.
