Basically what the title says. Do you all think that people who kill themselves go to hell? This is my biggest fear. I don't wanna end up in hell for eternity suffering 10,000x more than I am now.
I am atheistic(but do believe there *IS* a higher being, I just don't do any certain religion, but looking into greek hellenism), so no I dont think so As i dont beleive in a hell.
Not saying my belief is right but you asked so im sharing, so yeah just dont get mad for having a diffrent belief then me when YOU asked about it.
There is no hell. Heaven, Hell, and all this, are products of human imagination. It has been used to keep the naive masses under control. Lose this fear, dear soul. No one will punish you. The Universe is indifferent and impartial.

We have enough hell here on earth at least for some people. Hope there is no other hell.
I don't think there is hell for suicide. That's a human made thought.

I am opportunistic that there is something after death. However Hell is something I do not believe in. Afterall it is an religious concept and I am not religious.
I do not mean to be mean to religious people. This is just my take on this matter:)
All the best!

No, of course not. I believe that anything associated with religion is just a fictional concept. All that life is anyway is just an unfortunate consequence of evolution, there is no meaning or purpose to existence, we are all destined to cease to exist where we won't even have the awareness that we are dead. People really shouldn't be scared by fictional stories, this world is what the true hell is and death is freedom.
I wasn't saying I assume your easily offended, just wanted to clarify as I know some Christians can be defensive, so i didnt know if you were like that (or even that religion or another where bad place is dubbed "hell") so I just wanted to play it safe, and also if anyone would try to but in and say "DONT FORCE YOUR RELIGION ONTO THEM", because has happened on a social media I wont name due to uhh drama relating to me there.
No one can assure you that you'll see your loved ones again unfortunately, because none of us knows for sure what happens after death. But personally I don't think there's an afterlife where people are tortured for eternity...so at least you won't have to worry about that (assuming I'm right).
Life has no point and the value of it decrease as conditions worsen
when we die are souls will live and haunt those who caused you pain on earth so every person who has caused you damage in some way will pay

I think "afterlife" is what your brain makes up in those brief moments after you "die" but your brain is still functioning - like the stories we get of near death experiences.
The human mind is truly fascinating and I think it can make it seem like an eternity. I'm also not ruling out something more spiritual, but eitherway I believe in the power of belief/law of attraction.
With that view, I think you will experience what you expect to experience
So if you do not believe in hell and I don't think you will go there.
If you keep thinking about it however and worrying about it perhaps your mind will conjure that experience
So I say to do your best to think happy thoughts and believe in your nice peaceful afterlife with your family

So much this. When you die there are plenty of neurotransmitters that are released that have psychoactive/ psychedelic qualities.
Think of it like a magic mushroom trip. If you're already in a bad headspace/ thinking about specific things you're more likely to manifest them or have a bad trip.
That's my opinion.
You never hear about monks that have a near death experience talking about fire and brimstone or hell. Those are always the Christians saying that for some reason ?

I believe in God and my beliefs as a Christian teach me that people that commit suicide don't go to hell. I believe my dad and brother are in Heaven and I will meet them there because I believe that Jesus is my Savior. Christianity teaches me that that is all one has to do to go to heaven, so hopefully I will go there and finally be at peace.
Humans are inherently scared of the things that they don't understand. Death is the eternal mystery, so to offer comfort and some power to influence the level of fear, stories were created. That's region in a nutshell.
Gods explained the world around us that was yet to be understood, such as volcanoes, avalanches, storms and earthquakes. The concepts of heaven and hell are largely used as a method of control.
Threatening children with "the fiery pits of hell" is essentially abusive. But it's important they're indoctrinated good and young. The elders (and betters ) can't have people thinking for themselves and having potential clarity. Know your place peasants!!
Not so long ago (still the case in some places) suicide was illegal. HaHa!! Good luck prosecuting the dead.
That's how silly the idea that adhering to rules dictated by the clergy, is. Or confessing to a fella in a dress who can provide absolution. First rate bullshit.
I don't believe in hell, from books I've read about people having memories prior to being born, we go to the light and decide our life lessons/experiences before coming into this world. I guess that's where we will go again once we ctb.
I personally don't believe in any religion being true. I grew up in a christian family so that fear was definitely drilled in me and has taken some time to exorcise the residual fear of hell out of me but logically, it just makes no sense to me.
I believe personally that hell and heaven are only states of mind, at least if you want to look at them in a practical sense. One may say that those of us here are the ones who are currently in hell. Based on my understanding of reality, it seems most likely that when our brain turns off, it is much like an eternal sleep.
That being said, for those who believe in god, it is worth noting that the belief of suicide being punished by going to hell seems to be inconsistent. I haven't done all the research to be sure but I think that different types of christians have different beliefs around it and that the general view among christians may have changed over the years.

never, if there is a God, i imagine that theyd love us in spite of us rejecting our life. maybe its naive, and im not personally religious, but it brings me comfort to think that theres someone waiting for me in the afterlife, especially when i think about them loving me wholly and not judging me for my decision to CTB.
