Do you think the feeling of dying is warm or cold? I know you can feel when you're dying, and i was just wondering if people thought the feeling would be a nice warm and comforting feeling or a lonely and cold feeling.
The concept of it is a comforting feeling- an end to all worry and stress. Peace. A warm feeling.
The actual process of it though- I don't know. I can't imagine feeling all that calm. My Mum was given heroin at the end. (She had cancer.) The doctor said she would go out in a 'blaze of glory'. I'm most likely to use SN. I expect that will feel physically cold at the end- if I'm unfortunate enough to still be conscious. I intend to make up a couple of hot water bottles to cuddle- that always comforts me.
Plus- we'll likely mostly be on our own and scared. I can't imagine it being pleasant. Almost like an operation really- something that needs to be done for the greater good- that's how I see it. Not exactly a nice, warm sensation though.

I like to think the feeling of it depends if you found peace with yourself before dying. Like if you know you've done all you can to try to prevent the outcome
(by that i mean tried to get better when you wanted to)
Or if you left notes for people you care about or somewhat care about, kind of giving yourself clarification and peace of mind, letting people know what you've done isn't bad and that you feel better dying by your own hands.
(Warm feeling)
And the cold feeling coming with the fact that you feel hopeless, and really sad and lonesome, like you haven't found peace.
Or more so like you didn't want things to end with you dying so soon but you felt like it was the only way to end your suffering.
Hope that makes sense, this is just my view on the topic.
>looking for a ctb method
>ask SS if a ctb method is warm or cold
>they don't understand
>pull out illustrated diagram explaining what is warm and what is cold
>they laugh and say "it's a good method"
>buys a ctb method
>it's cold
I've always imagined death as windy? Weird I know but I've always looked at it as sort of like stepping outside and feeling the wind come up and take you, the kind of wind you know has ran across miles of nothing. I don't know tho, haven't died yet.
