I LOVE rain and thunderstorms. I would love to live on a earth were it just rains every day. I feel only comfortable when it's dark and gloomy outside, hearing the thunder, seeing the lightning...fucking awesome. I hate leaving my house when the sun shines, I always hated it, even as a little child, thats why I barely left my house in summer and ordered as much as possible online.

I still like pictures of sunny nature online for whatever reason, like the swiss alps in summer. I'm fucking strange

Rain, because the sunshine invites one to go out where, if I do go out, I can see a lot of happy people and feel even sadder. If it's raining, I can stay cozy inside.

I like both, but I like the rain more. And kinda contrary to the whole staying inside thing, rain actually makes me want to go out into it. Maybe I'm just weird or deprived of rain where I live, lol.

There's just something magical about letting rain fall upon you. Different sounds, smells, and feelings. And if I'm lucky enough the sun will come out and warm me a little before doing it all over again.

Like honestly, when it rains on a sunny day: that is peak awesomeness.

Neither. Cloudy overcast days give the best of both worlds.

Rain is too wet and sun is too hot.

Rain, I don't like being outside much. I'm not good with heat and I means I have to wear less layers when it's sunny because over heat. So rain

The combination makes for a beautiful rainbow. But if I had to choose, sunshine.

Rain brings me peace — dampening air and sound alike. The air during and after a rainfall smells fresh and clean even when, in truth, I still inhale emission gasses. And the sound from crowds and traffic is drowned out by the pitter-patter of rain hitting the ground. I would love to own a house with a conservatory attachment, filled with greenery, where I can sit in peace as rain pelts against the glass panes. Sadly this is but a fantasy.

But let's be realistic; this is not how I experience rain now. Travelling through (heavy) rainfall is an inconvenience. And I have no sheltered spot from where I can enjoy the rain without getting wet. No porch, no covered patio, and no conservatory. This is the reason why sunshine attracts me more as the alternative in a day to day setting. The rising sun in the early hours of a fresh morning, when most still lie in their bed, does most what rain does for me. The moist in the air, the lack motor traffic, the sound of rustling leaves, and gentle sunrays warming my face.

I LOVE the sun but with my bad lungs I struggle a lot if it is humid to breathe. We don't really get much humidiity in the UK when it's rainy haha.

Rain, storms, thunder, lightning or snow for me. It sounds dumb but it's like the outside matches my insides? Also little/no pressure to go out and do things, people slack on their responsibilities during stormy weather which means people who might be strict or abusive towards you may choose to lay off that particular day..

Sunshine comes with: 1) stifling heat, 2) illumination, physically and emotionally, which feels like too many eyes on me, 3) pressure to be productive or "have fun" outside. People start driving like assholes around spring and summer too..

I know this seems like an exaggeration but I truly hate summertime. I hate the sun in my eyes and on my skin, and I hate the heat. I've always wanted to move somewhere where it rains most of the year.

Being in the rain makes me feel clean in a way nothing else does, it feels like my soul is being rejuvenated, then the modern world drags me back into it's sludge and grime.

Rain. Yeah, technically I prefer sunshine and blue skies too as a scenery, especially in a mild Mediterranean climate. But recently, sunny weather triggers good memories, which in turn induces crippling nostalgia in me making me cry. So I want to avoid going out when it's sunny.

I love rain too, it's one of the few things that comforts me. I make sure to sit out on my balcony or under some overhang when it starts coming down. I actually feel unhappy and lonely when it's sunny, for some reason. It's like SAD in reverse. Very strange.
