Do you have an exact date?

How important is it for you to decide an exact date to ctb? How long does it take for you to get things in order and get ready mentally for the act?

Personally, I would see it as being for the best to leave this world when the time feels right rather than trying to stick to an exact date. If someone sets a date far in advance then something could potentially interfere with their plans making it difficult for them to go through with ctb. I guess that having the method planned is the important thing at least to me and making sure that it doesn't fail.

For the second question, I think that those who have got to the point of having a plan and being mentally ready likely won't be here on this site still writing about it. In my case I lack the desired reliable method which means I'm still trapped here in this world. I know that if I had a peaceful method I would have no problems going through with ctb, but I just think that only the individual knows when they are ready to leave this world, it's a personal decision and a feeling that they have when they know that it's time.

I'm hoping for December 15th, but I'll probably be a coward and back out.

I'm not going to commit to a date. I'll just do it when I can't take it anymore. I'll have to plan ahead a little bit and donate most of my stuff so there's not a whole house of things to sort through after i'm gone, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I'm not going to set a specific date. When I feel the time is right, I'm going to do it the same day. I'm not going to make the mistake of overthinking it and giving my SI a chance to kick in. I already have everything ready to go.

Not religious. It seems I will still get in if there is one. Maybe.

- it is very important as that is part of the plan
- have not succeeded but the longest I took was 40ish days and the shortest is 3 hours, noted I never tried to use any chemicals
