I usually shower/bathe once a month in winter and once every two weeks in summer. I brush once in two days and shave once a week.
Keep it up!Yes. I don't need to feel any worse than I already do.
I take a lot of pride in appearance and I get a lot of self-esteem from it. I'm relatively vain when it comes to my looks, and whether I am sporting a handle bar mustache, mohawk, or a beard, I am always well groomed and smell nice.
I agree. It's specially not worth it when you don't have much energy left.I used to lurk on a web board for the, um, appearance challenged. I enjoyed reading about people's experiences, observations... One common theme I came upon there--and one I agree with--is that investing in appearance is just not worth it for very many people who're waaaaay at the bottom of the appearance totem pole. The effort required only to look at a grossly sub-par product and have this judgment confirmed by everyone else can be just too much. The disappointment itself can be a source of depression.
I do what I must to be minimally acceptable. I used to have a corporate job, used to invest in tailored suits and shirts, shaving and showering twice a day... It made no difference in others' acceptance of me, burned through my savings account, and made me depressed b/c I wasn't getting any of the returns I'd been told making those investments would net me. Law of diminishing returns.
I am sorry but that is terrible logic. Your teeth won't just fall out but you are more importantly endangering your health. No, I've thrown away my tooth brush and starting to eat more sugary things. I hope to destroy my teeth. If I'll still shower though as there's no reason not to but I want to destroy my teeth because I always had shitty teeth that got yellow and was made fun of even though I took care of them.
No point in taking care of teeth if I can never have the perfect ones in my opinion.
