Do you ever dream about suicide?

I googled a lil bit around that topic but then I thought, suicide is a taboo topic in our societies, so if it might have something to do with actual suicide, noone would really talk about it.

I dreamed two times about suicide the last 2 weeks or so. In both dreams, i was trying out methods, and both where quite positive dreams i think. I really wanted to die in them. I wonder if that might be a sign that I'm ready, und not subconsciously still be thinking it's a bad idea. But maybe it's just, because i think about it a lot...

I dream/day dream a lot about me committing suicide by full suspension hanging. I don't read too much into it to be honest, im guessing that the only reason im constantly dreaming about it is because suicide is always in my mind and I want to be free from this world.

Not so much suicide but a lot of themes about life ending situations, whether it be falling from the sky, or getting a life sentence, and so on and so fourth. Have been beaten to death, and shot in the head in my dreams.

I think the idea of you being ready because you dream about suicide is a pretty interesting, valid one. I haven't dreamed about suicide although I've purchased the SN and it's probably because I'm not sure and maybe it's not even a "true" desire of mine as opposed to my previous goals I've dreamt about in the past. I do use this website a lot though, but actually thinking about suicide I'd say not that frequently.

Yeah, I do quite often. Last night I actually dreamt about hanging myself, or trying to anyway. I also dream a lot about cutting myself and hurting myself. I do like these types of dreams though. I guess it's because I think about it quite a lot during the day so I dream about it too.

Last night I dreamed about trying to hang myself. It was strange because I had the rope attached to the leg of a bed on which my father was sleeping. So basically, the rope was lying flat on the ground and I somehow tried to kill myself with it. But then my father started to wake up so it became stressful and I had to abort.

I also had a nightmare once in which I sensed that some monstrosity was going to murder me soon so I decided to avoid the agony by killing myself although I don't think I pressed the trigger. The dream just ended.

In one dream I actually committed suicide for fun. There was a lava pit and I kept jumping into it because dying that way somehow felt good.

I also dreamed about dying in general. One time I had my soul sucked out by a dementhor and I was travelling through a tunnel at an incredible speed, think about how sci-fi movies depict worhmoles. I once bled to death. One time I dreamed about the end of the world as a result of a meteor impact. I was standing on a balcony and told people around me that we'll be gone in an instant. Then the meteor hit and I could see the shockwave moving towards us, shattering buildings on its way. And then it reached us and I could feel a pleasant feeling of being disintegrated. Then after a moment of blackness I could see things again and it turned out we were alive again.

There are also dreams in which I'm just falling to my death and wake up the moment I would have died.

Yes, I vaguely remember dreaming about drowning and hanging. I do tend to forget the specific details of dreams as soon as I wake up. Of course, I believe I am dreaming about suicide as it is something that I think about all the time when I am awake and I know that leaving this world is what I want and it is the right thing for me. I wish I had the courage to actually exit this world. I wish I could disappear.

The pleasant feeling of being disintegrated is something I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing yet. Though having your soul sucked by a dementor and killing yourself in order to avoid an unfavorable outcome are relatable bits.

I recently had a dream where someone handed me a glass of SN and I just took it without any questions and drank the solution. I could feel the loss of consciousness quite clearly, then I proceeded to have an out of body experience and started fearing that death wouldn't be the end of me. What a sneaky little bastard my survival instinct is. It chose a very convenient time to start persuading me of new age type metaphysics.

Yes a had a few dreams about suicide. In my last one I jumped off a building and was laying in blood on the ground but was awake, not dead. In other dreams I scream at my parents that i am going to kill myself and they say go ahead.

yes several last night i had a dream about a bullet going through head and just visualizing my soul dying. i actually feel the pain as i imagine it during the dream. there is a slight regret with each one. probably because i was given these thoughts against my will in a rapid time frame

I don't think I've ever dreamed about it, which is odd considering how much I think about it.

I've had a few dreams of suicide. The first was when I was 15 in 2015, I had slit my throat open didn't end up dying somehow just fell to the grass then woke up.
Next one I remember taking SN and phoning an ambulance for help after going blue.
Then my most recent one I also drank SN and I remember after a while I collapsed and was on the floor convulsing, blood and foam spewing out my mouth I was dying out but then I woke up before I died in my dream.
I do think there was one more time i dreamt of my suicide but I can't recall it

I dream a lot about bullying at my school when I was a teenager. But when I was more suicidal than now I had a lot of suicide dreams. I have sometimes lucid and/ or very vivid dreams. Moreover my medication that causes nightmares. I can remember a dream where I slowly suffocated. (I think I know this feeling because I tried partial) The feeling was very scary and in this night I had a lot of other dreams. Someone killing me with a knive and so on...

I've had a couple dreams about suicide.

One of my favourite types of dreams is where I die a hero. It usually consists of me getting shot or stabbed for intervening something like a robbery or shooting but that scenario is so unlikely. To be honest its probably my favourite because people I know won't try to blame themselves or find a reason to connect themselves with my death.

The other dreams are usually fantasy like where I die skydiving or tying a cinderblock to my feet and throwing myself into the ocean.

I love adrenaline and have always wanted to skydive. I also love swimming so those two ways of dying are something dream worthy. I always hear that drowning is painful and so that is why it will probably be one of my last resorts. I would rather hike to the top of a cliff and jump off trying to land head first in hopes of instantly passing.

Ive dreamt about drowning on more than one occasion, I figure this is probaly how I will end it someday.
