I do things like that often because I think it'd be easier for my family to understand and cope if I were killed in some "tragic accident"..not so much by my own hand. It wouldn't leave behind feelings of abandonment for my daughter either.

I figure playing hooky with things that may kill me, is far more likely to make my life exponentially worse, than it is to turn out well and get me killed.

I suppose that is probably the most likely of outcomes.

Yes. Do this all the time when crossing the road always leave it to the last minute to cross as a vehicle gets nearer and nearer. Just with a faint hope it might kill me.

I used to do this a lot too when I was alone, but I always felt bad because if it kills me they'll likely be charged with something. I stopped this particular thing just becAuse I don't like putting someone else's life in danger and don't want to scar them with the knowledge they killed me.

You are right. Don't do it all the time. But it's so ingrained into me I often do it unconsciously.

I did the same thing, it wasn't something I really thought about but just did for a long time.
There were a couple times I ran towards a car instead of away without realizing it when it was going to hit me. Unfortunately I wasn't alone when this happened, so of course someone grabbed me and pulled me back.

I do... I take risks with the most dangerous situations possible all the time. I choose gas stations in the most dangerous parts of town, sleep with my doors unlocked, you name it. So far, nothing.

It's weird, I think, how people can actively ask for someone to come along and kill them and it never happens but when someone actively does what they can to prevent it they're the ones to die.
Why is it never the ones that want it?

I cycle quite recklessly. I was wondering about cycling in some really dangerous roads but I'd prefer to go more peacefully than that.

Well I like to get out when theres thunderstorm (unless it gets wet lol). I like the storm, especially when its calm and the breeze before the first thunders appear. Haunting.

I have literally asked people to kill me before, usually street thugs that I offered a ride. I had a few takers who said they were interested, but (obviously) no one ever followed through.

No, I don't because there is a high chance of things not going to plan and then I just end up injured (or a vegetable) and in a worse situation than before. I much rather go on my own terms (time, place, method and what not).

I used to risk my life a bit, as I always thought that dying while trying to save a person or animal seemed like the best way to go (even if it hurt or I was only injured, it didn't really matter). But serious situations are rare, and things tended to work out fine. At times, I made purposefully poor decisions to either increase my chances of death, test humanity, or make people care less about me. Now I'm a bit different; I'm less brave and more selfish, and I hesitate. I sort of miss the old me that had given up. Now I'm trying harder to "be happy", but I like myself less, and it's all rather false and tiring.

I've done this too just once and a stranger went after me and pulled me back. When I sh, I sometimes don't clean them in the hope of getting septicaemia.

I don't think I've ever cleaned my razors when I've self harmed, just kinda scrape off the crusty blood so I have the sharp edge back
But I don't do it so often anymore.
Didn't know others did the same

I don't use razors but same difference I suppose. I meant the cuts not what I use, again same difference probably. Ugh, sorry.

No need to be sorry, it was a misunderstanding on my part that I should apologize for.
I never cleaned my cuts either, unless you count the shower. I purposefully don't take care of things like that, burns and cuts and such.

I really had to think about this. Ive definitely not taken safety into account on different occasions.. I just feel like if fate would like to take me.. it can take me. In the past I've thought about volunteering in dangerous areas where the probability of death is high..the chance of giving someone else a fighting chance is a decent payoff. One life traded for another. I have a lot of guilt about my thoughts. I have a lot to work through.

I barely eat,i sleep all day- wake up at 7-8pm, im always sitting/laying down (never stood or walked for more than 30 sec in the past two years- its not like saying i dont work out because i never even do the minimum activity of just people who are just..alive) , i never go out to the sun,i smoke a lot, dont watch myself while driving and more. I cause permanent damages to my body,my body is miserable but the dying process can take decades and in the meantime i find myself alive with untreatable disfunctions/very bad aesthetics/ horrible but nonfatal health problems/new mental problems and more.

I do the seatbelt thing and put it on when I get close to a police checkpoint and I stand really close to the road when I'm crossing the road hoping a semi would lose control or something and I'm usually just getting clear of the road when a car is like 2 feet away from me when I cross. Sometimes it scares me cause I think I'm much more likely to come out with severe but survivable injuries. So then sometimes I'm just careful. It would be nice to die accidentally cause that way all those unanswerable questions left behind by suicide won't be there. But to make a lethal accident happen can be incredibly difficult.

If a parachute isn't properly pack the drag shoot that deploys the main can get tangled; many other things. However a skydiver whose shoot got fouled fell 10,000 ft & didn't die.
Personally, I would not want to die in a painful way; even though I often feel I deserve it. But i certainly am not as careful & precautious as I was when I was young. I don't think it's intentional; but might be a subconscious thing I do.
