I don't find these inherently annoying. Most, if not all of these terms came from AAVE; they have a purpose and use within the black community, and I don't have any issues with that.
The problem is that they were appropriated by the masses and have been overused to death to the point a lot of people don't even know the original meaning or use them in an appropriate context (and to be clear, I don't know the meaning of many of them, which is why I don't use them), so it gets annoying and tiring quickly. You get a lot of kids using this words to describe anything they see, because that's how kids are; their vocabulary and critical thinking are still developing. When my generation was younger, we used terms such as "lol, rofl, swag, lmao" and more over, and over, and over again until we dropped them (well, not all, but they weren't as "special" as when they gained popularity).
I know language is transformative and changes throughout time, but I've seen many black folks be annoyed that this has happened a lot to their language and I feel bad for them.
With how a lot of gen-zers are more politically active and trying to be more socially conscious than past generations, I hope they reflect on how they use language and the impact of black culture in meme culture and other aspects of their life.
