Discussion Do most people enjoy life?

Given the stigma of not being able to choose death? I view enjoying life almost a form of "stockholm syndrome". Let's say a woman gets raped by a man, and then has a baby. She keeps the baby and then continues having sex with the man and finds him attractive. If I said that the man was justified in her rape because she later went on to enjoy it and the relationship, would that make it right??

Anyone who would say yes is a sadistic psychopath yet life is almost like that. Brought into this life in horrendous circumstances and yet people say they enjoy it.

Yes, there is so much suffering in life. Even if you are completely healthy, and wealthy. But if youre poor and sick, weil then youre fucked. And many people end up poor and sick in old age. Some even in young age.

To varying degrees. Never met anybody who has never been suicidal. Even the one person around me who always frowned on suicide, hilariously it turns out they hated themselves but was too scared to do it.

Especially upbeat people or anybody who is too much into anything whatsoever, any obsession, scratch the surface and there is someone waiting for the bus.

i think so, but i find it hard to believe that they're not just faking it (except for small kids)
