Has anyone thought of a discreet way to let go? I don't want my family to have to try and pick up the pieces and wonder why I did it... I just want everyone to think it was an accident.

Unrealistic fantasy. Just write a letter and be honest about what went down.

Agreed

You can start letting your family know how much your suffering, or how meaningless life is.

It's nice of you to consider the consequences/aftermath but it's really hard to make it look like an accident. An easy way that came from the top off my head is to take a selfie and drop your phone before jumping. These accidents happen once in a while all over the world. But I'd rather let it be known that I voluntarily ended my life than being the guy who died because of a selfie. Drowning is also more convincing but very hard to pull off since survival instincts react much more greatly as you drown. Vehicular accidents are quite common but actuay staging one might involve others, and chances of it being fatal vary too. I'd rather just focus on making sure the attempt succeeds while reducing the pain and discomfort as much as I can.

Thank you for that information. I was considering drowning. I was thinking to take an antihistamine with alcohol and go swimming at the beach but I'm not sure how that will go down for me. I've tried sleeping tablets before and my body fought against it

Personally, I would rather just quietly completely disappear. No sign, no trace. I'm just trying to figure out how to do that. Any ideas?

I moved to another country alone and slowly stopped speaking to friends and family. They don't suspect anything but they still message now and then. It's difficult to try to dissappear

A collaborator makes things much easier. You pay someone to clean up the scene.
If you are motivated enough you can do it alone. It's harder but if you succeed you won't be labelled a suicide.

You could for example freeze to death while climbing a mountain. You'll feel cold but won't suffer too much.

Wouldn't a collaborator be hard to find. Wish I could find someone who I could hire to help

It really depends on you and the circumstances you're in. Where I'm from punishment for assisted suicide is very lenient. If the consequences of getting caught are severe you can compensate by offering more money or making a good pitch. I am also pretty ill and people are sympathetic to that. So again it depends on you and other factors.

I think I've found someone but if he gets cold feet I might just recruit someone from this site.
