Hi everyone,
A while ago, I took over a Discord server aimed at those trying to improve their situations and live. I now help to run this alongside another member here.
It's a quiet group consisting of 46 people. We would like to increase activity in the server, and are seeking new members to join us.
We ask that membership requests are only made by those who can send and receive direct messages. New members and those with an insufficient number of posts may lack the ability to do this, but are welcome to contact me when they are able to do so.
While the server is recovery-focused, "recovery" can mean different things to different people. Some may choose not to (or be unable to) improve their lives, which is okay as long as there is mutual respect.
I am unsure if my own circumstances will improve or how long I will be here, just to be transparent. I have one foot in and one foot out, owing to disabilities, chronic illnesses and trauma. On one hand I have a plan to go and a provisional date, on the other I'm pursuing several last ditch attempts to alleviate this pain. I certainly know I can't fully "recover." But I do try to trudge onwards, and I support those trying to build a better life, regardless of what happens to mine.
If you would like to join, please comment below or send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I am able to do so.
Thank you.
