So I plan on ctb by hyperventilating + nitrogen soon. It's taken me some months to gather all the equipment and money. I'm essentially mentally messed up due to my depression from my self harm scars due to family abuse mostly from my dad in my teenage years and my severe hair loss that I experienced in my early 20s. I can't work and Centrelink is probably going to make me eventually work and I look forward to nothing in life. I plan on leaving my city and dying about 1000km away. Reason is I'm afraid of an autopsy being done on my freshly deceased corpse. If I can just disappear and they can't find my body for a couple of months until it's decomposed, that would be comforting. I'll be wearing a knife proof shirt & jacket and pants with chainmail gloves, socks and hood to protect me from any animals feasting on my corpse. I will be using a burner phone with a removed SIM card in my pocket in case of a failed nitrogen attempt and need help. I'll be travelling to my location with a GPS device not linked to my ID at all. I won't be using my car. They will have no idea where I went. How much time you think this will buy me until I'm found? I made a detailed post a few months ago about exactly step by step how I'm going to do it. Link below. https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/nitrogen-gas-final-goodbye-help-needed.211011/

I don't know, I wish I did. Forgive me if I'm getting this wrong, but this fear of autopsy gives me the sense that you are not ready to die, that you are not ready to part with your body. You're not ready to relinquish control over what happens to it. I encourage you to examine why this is of any concern at all to you. I know you don't think you have anything worth looking forward to in the future, but it's honestly just too early to know that for certain. I do not mean to offend, but there's no reason to proceed if any part of you isn't absolutely sure.

I'm scared of blood and gore that's why I'm mostly vegan. It's still my body. Again I don't want to be found for a longtime.

This is really confusing… you're averse to blood and gore but you'd rather rot in the bush?

if you died at home with a nitrogen bottle next to you and a suicide note there's very very little chance you'd get an autopsy, there wouldn't really be a need especially with a note and putting your wishes not to have an autopsy and detailing your mental health and suicide method would 100% convince a corner to not waste money and resources on one … your body would be taken to hospital and and then you can be buried or cremated or whatever

Dying in the bush even with a nitrogen bottle and suicide note means if they find you early enough it's almost guaranteed to have an autopsy done and even then if not early enough you're just going to rot to a mass of blood and gore, it's very unlikely you'd be found after you turn to bone too then they'd have to transport your rotted body piece by piece and they'd definitely still do testing on your rotted flesh

I could totally understand if all you wanted was to die alone in the bush but protecting your corpse doesn't sound like you actually want to do that at all and think doing it will protect you from an autopsy. When it seems like you're much more likely to have an autopsy and become a gory scene by dying in the bush?
