Dig my own grave

I want to disappear, don't want funeral or cheesy wake full of assholes.
I was thinking about digging my own grave somewhere, where I wouldn't be found.
Rigging a pulley to cover myself with dirt, and od'ing, drinking myself to sleep where I'd suffocate, anyone ever hear of this?

Love the idea of some kind of self-burial.
Never heard of it being done though.
I have a method where I could fill a backpack with weights, and jump off a bridge into a river.
I also don't want a funeral, or my body to be found.

It's an interesting idea but my guess is you would eventually be found and re-located/ cremated maybe. I imagine most land belongs to someone- you probably need permission to be buried there. If it's somewhere remote- how are you going to get the equipment there? What will it be powered by? Wouldn't people come across this pulley appararus used to bury you and see the newly dug soil? I don't know- it's definitely an interesting idea.

If it's that you simply don't want a funeral- you could just pre-pay for a cremation/burial with no service.

Sounds interesting. But not very viable. Probably someone find it because it needs to be deep enough and covered but one doesnt want to die that way i bet
