Discussion Did she fake it?

Recently I had a friend who supposedly overdosed on 7 pills, in a group chat I made with a bunch of my other friends. This is the first time she's done it with us but apparently she has a history of committing 6 other times. All of my friends were worried for her at the time but I couldn't help but believe that it was somehow just an act. She kept typing random letters and getting typos in her words, this went on for around 40 minutes I'd say before she finally said "I can talk now," some other things, and then disappeared.

I just want to know if she was lying or not.

She never told us what the pills were, only that she took 7 of them

I got accused of "acting drunk" after slamming a beer and half a liter of vodka in 30 minutes and posting. Some of what I wrote was completely unintelligible at the end before I started blacking out. So I wouldn't discount the story based on the typing. What's very suspicious is for a suicidal person to tell people they know that they're committing suicide in a group chat while they are attempting, unless the method is something very fast.

Oh she's alive, she just didn't talk much after the incident.

7 anxiety pills won't kill you. I'd be long gone if they did! But I have had blackouts in the past after taking too many along with overdosing on paracetamol (stupid I know!) so the typing may not have been put on..
