I've gone off the deep end.

What would it be like to die due to diabetic shock? This happens when sugar levels go dangerously low and if they're not brought up in time, one might slip into a coma. I'm fairly thin but I have a disease that impacts my blood sugar and my family wants me to go get tested for Type 2 diabetes. My sugar dropped super low a few times these last few days and I've noticed that some of the symptoms are feeling weak, shaky and extremely sleep.. almost as if I'm about to pass out.

So, I was thinking, has anyone here ever experienced diabetic shock and would that sound like an ideal to CTB? I already have my SN, but have to wait on antiemetics. If I CTB through low blood sugar shock, then I technically didn't CTB but "let myself die" and it wouldn't hurt family as much. Plus, judging by how I feel when my sugar does go low, it seems more peaceful than SN because I get the feeling I'll slip out of consciousness.

Thoughts and experience?

The use of insulin to cause death by diabetic shock is covered in the PPH. Reading this also gives a good description of diabetic shock in general. Using insulin, the method can be peaceful but is very difficult to achieve in practice for reasons described there.

Diabetic shock not caused by insulin (that is, simply caused by low blood sugar levels from not eating) is very unlikely to be fatal.
