I recently ended a 13-year relationship with which I had 2 children, the fact that the family I had built in some way was destroyed puts me in a very bad situation (I dedicated all the relationship only to the family I had formed .. . leaving aside all the rest, so now I am alone) ...... how do you get out of this without committing madness? How do you get out of this depression that doesn't let me move forward ...

I'm sorry you feel this way and hopefully you get better soon and fine peace of mind. I have never been in a relationship so I can't really claim that what I say works. You spent a very long time in a relationship that you invested your time, feelings and tried to make it work. It is not easy to simply move on, it is not a switch of a button and everything goes back to normal. You should try to find where you stand in your life right now and do what makes you happy. You should also respect your feelings and give yourself time to get better. Last thing is try to enjoy the time you spend with your kids. Wish you all the best.

Do you have a job ?
Can you keep yourself busy and get on with things ?
Do you have any interests or things you can enjoy doing ?
Could you learn something new, or take up a new interest ?
Also, if possible, could you do the following :
> Think about building a new life.
> Work on becoming a person who is happy with themselves, without having to be with someone else. This means you can enjoy being with someone else, but your life won't be finished if they leave.
