Venting Depression or sadness?

Sadness is temporary while depression is a lifelong battle. What are your thoughts on this

But sadness can lead to depression.

And depression does not come in only one intensity or one level.

Even tho this image ressonates deeply with me, my depression is not the same as yours or the one of other members - and I see no reason for us to diss other people just because we are sadder/worse of. I feel like we should feel empathy for them.
