Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

What the title suggests. I am in NYC but this should be world wide, wherever SS has members. We should stand up for ourselves. If there were enough of us for a protest meeting, count me in. Who's pro?
Yeah, it's like. People argue self autonomy in the case of abortion and legalization of drugs but we seriously can't just go and take a forever nap. Like c'mon.
I can't for the light of me understand what makes my life the property of government/ law makers/ whatever. I was born free - slavery is not legal. And if I am not a slave, I decide for myself, nobody else can. So what gives them the right?? It's bad enough that they don't want to help - lack of assisted suicide and euthanasia clinics which should be at every corner - but stop me from doing it myself in any way I can? This is unacceptable.
Why are there not protests all over the place - like it was against mandatory vaccine? Body autonomy should be unalienable right

There could be drawback to it. People will see us in a worse light than we are now. If we don't have the backing of professionals, then the chances are slim to none.
if there's enough of us, they won't be able to fit us...we would drive them crazy...pun intended lol. Or maybe they can take us to showers and gas us coz they are no different than nazis

I wish I could do this. I don't know how it could make a difference. Also, the fact that you can't get assisted dying even for terminal illness or constant pain in the UK means tnat I just don't think there is any chance of them doing this for mental illness.
Psychiatry is a dishonest'profession'. How many psychiatrists give two shits about our suffering. I have not met one thst does. All of them arrogant shitheads. And they are the 'professionals' who preside over us. Once we are in their clasp all kinds of side effects can be risked for us without our informed consent.
I think if it was a surgeon they'd give us chances, percentage risks. But with mental illness zero information, zero respect.
OP if we made a website of testimonies/blogs/philosophies/experiencespf the mental health system…. as a standing testimony and we could write letters to MPs, psychiatry bodies etc. I don't know if it would make a difference or how many of us have the strength…
Would it change opinion and practice or would we just receive the same platitudes and nonsense they already say to suicidal people.
That they have reversed Roe vs Wade in US also makes us getting help less likely. How many more born into poverty, abuse and suffering as a direct result of that..

If at some point people do decide to do this, it has to be well planned out. Go through the legal system and human rights laws with a fine tooth comb. Have valid arguments ready to defend yourself with debates. It can't just be a rally to gather like minded people together and start chanting, it'll bring publicity but it won't convince the lawmakers of anything.
