Just wanting some peace

There is no relief or peace in life, it doesn't exist and could never do. As long as someone lives, life can torture them in the worst way possible and simply just enduring life is a pointless experience which can be very painful. How could anyone say that life is preferable to death, when death is the only way to escape. Death is ideal, as there is no problems and no pain, there is simply nothing. I believe that the longer humans stay alive, the worse that things will get. Our bodies will torture us with health problems and we will deteriorate, and become more tired. It's awful how life can hurt us in an unlimited amount of ways and if I was to die, then all future suffering would be prevented. To die would be the best possible thing to happen.

I believe that no one who is still alive is really lucky. They are trapped in the prison that is consciousness. They have to deal with thoughts and feelings and have to go through this unnecessary experience called life. Those who die are the lucky ones, I envy those who died at a very young age. They barely had to put up with life before they were finally free. Making an peaceful death easily accessible would be the best way to reduce suffering in this world, no one should have to die in agony. Being suicidal is just seeing the world for what it really is, it's not something that people need to be saved from or needs to be helped, because when life itself is the real problem, which it is for me, the only true solution and relief is death. 'Saving' someone from suicide is just prolonging suffering. The thought that suicide is wrong could never make sense, as all we are destined for anyway is death, it's our only real purpose as humans and it's the only relief from the cruelty that is life.

It truly is so sister. The people who say life is preferable to death have never experienced the horrors of life, as you know. And they insist that we, the ones who have suffered, take on their perspective? They can have this doomed waste engine and go fuck themselves to the days when the stars die and they inevitably go extinct. May we noble sufferers find refuge in the Void evermore!

Believe it or not, there are actually people who are happy in this planet. People who were born with good genetics in a good family, with optimal physical and mental health, and money. It's all about genetics+environment (especially genetics). Feeling good is their baseline (something that you can't even grasp when you have been feeling like shit for years).

@GasMonkey I have noticed that I never show my depressive nature to people that I see as much less fortunate than me. they always see a joyous, funny, arrogant, confident me. They'd never ever be able to conceive that I'm suicidal.

I think there's an effect where we tend to be incapable of seing the struggles of people who are "above" us because they always appear so strong and confident and have all their need met (my assumption is that they show their vulnerable sides only to those that they consider their equal).

you cannot say for sure that some people are truly happy. even the greatest philosophers in history based every single of their theories on the fact that the default condition of man is suffering. even the biggest religions have the same basis, that man was created empty, weak and deeply fragile.

I personally don't think that some people are happy. I have never seen true selflessness. these so called happy people are the most selfish ones, destroying the planet and enslaving people. I can't conceive of this state of being as happiness.

and then you have people who are honest, poorer, humble and content. I wouldn't say that contentment is happiness. It's mostly a (good) coping mechanism. these people rely on harmless distractions such as faith, strong family values, etc. they lead simple lives.

I get what you're trying to say. this is just how I see things.

Ohh you're right @FuneralCry .. you're right

the fact that while we live, we need to "find a way, a goal" to our existence, is just an absurd thing.

Dying could be considered as an achievement

Sorry for your suffering, we give you some love, even far away <3

I feel you. Because once I was really happy. It took until I was 20. Up to the age of 30 sometimes good, sometimes bad. Next is hell.

Death is like the platinum achievement you get after completing the story.

I disagree. I know tons of "selfless" people who are happy.
