Dead-man-switch for email?

Hi,
Anybody have ideas for a dead man switch to send an email? I'm aware of the "future email" services etc, however I fear that lets say I decide to CTB, set up future email to be sent, and chicken out, the consequences of the future email. I'd like if there were something out there that would somehow know if I am alive or not, to then send the prescribed message.

As long as you're conscious you should be able to cancel the scheduled email if it hasn't been sent yet.

Makes sense, I haven't looked into the services too heavily so thank you.

now for the harder one - any idea about real, postal mail/FDX/UPS? I have a package (just paperwork, and a very sentimental coin) that i would like to be able to do the same idea with. It's very confidential information (paperwork etc plus a very sentimental coin) that I need to get to my ex if I were to CTB; the importance of the info means it would have to be given to someone I trust. If I gave any of my friends a sealed envelope with instructions not to send it unless anything happens to me, they'd be tipped off to my plan and intervene. This is the hard one.

This seems legit. I guess a more conceptual question...if I make a will with that statement, who actually has the will? And how do they find out I'm gone?

You can keep it anywhere. But you will need to tell your executor where it is.

Once you create your last will and testament, the next thing you should do is store it in a safe place.

Don't use any of the popular email services such as Gmail (or it's addon of Boomerang) because they scan emails and anything that raises a red flag would/could result in law enforcement intervention. As far as delayed emails, set it out ahead of time so that you would be able to cancel it if you change your mind.
