It just went into effect today. I hate it. It wreaks havoc with my frail sleeping patterns. And there are lots of downsides to it. This crap should be abolished.

The worst is having to figure out how to change the time on things like the microwave and your car dashboard all over again, because that's one of those things I seem to magically forget how to do every six months. I was going to say ain't no one got time for that, but I guess I have an extra hour.

I'm bitter that it ended. I wish we could just have one time zone.

I'm not a fan ether. Speaking of time - a few years back I got bored and drew up an idea for calendar reform.

A year would have 13 months each with 28 days even. That leaves us with 364 days.

New Years Day would not be included in the 13 months but instead be a day all to itself. The year would officially change at noon instead of midnight. On leap year, the extra day would be absorbed into New Years Day - making it a 48 hour period between the end of 13/28 and the beginning of 1/1.

My sleeping habits are completely messed up so it doesn't really make a difference for me. The actual clock-changing part is just a pain in the ass.

My sleep is erratic. Has been since I was about 15. One week I'm up during the day, the next im up all night. I prefer to stay up at nights. I can't focus as much during the day.

Guess I'll be the black sheep of this thread haha I don't mind.

The clock said 5pm and finding out it was really 4pm made me happy cause I got more time to get shit done : p Oh and it means it gets darker sooner! I'm so for that. I love it getting dark at 5pm.

I'm about to ready to climb into bed and it's only 4P here. Which is fine, in and of itself. I just hate the back and forth change and having to acclimate and re-acclimate.

New years at noon?

I always preferred day drinking. Get to sober up
And start again

Personally, I'm all for it. The extra hour of sleep is a godsend for me. The return of Daylight Saving Time in March is always soul-crushing. And I'm very much a child of gloom and darkness
