Damn Antidepressants

I have been taking Pristiq for almost a month now and I'm not sure if it is working. If anything, I think I'm a little bit more suicidal, hence why I am on this site lol. I'm really thinking of doing the charcoal method. Already bought my little hibachi and tested it in a tiny enclosed area and was able to reach at least a thousand PPM within a few minutes. I'm sure I can reach an even more lethal concentration with time.

Anyway, this damn Pristiq, it is an "snri" and Effexor and Cymbalta helped me out in the past before and they're both snris and I was really sure that this would help me. Fuck. I really thought I figured it out and just assumed my norepinephrine receptors are messed up just as much as my serotonin ones, but I guess it's simply just a freaking gamble with these damn drugs.
I should have killed myself 10 years ago. It sucks when you realize you can't grow / evolve as a person and you realize you're pretty much the same autistic anxious depressed dipshit you were in high school. I don't know if I want to save myself this time.
Ill have to go back to the hospital if I tell my family doctor I'm feeling this way on this drug as he'll be apprehensive about presribing anything else. Not sure what to do...

About keeping your suicidal thoughts for yourself? I would always recommend that when dealing with doctors and psychiatrists, otherwise they most likely have legal ground for locking u away for a certain amount of time at least.

Antidepressants? I threw them all away years ago, useless shit. Doesnt matter what type. ;P That is my rough, personal opinion.The only nice things u can get from ur psychiatrist drug dealer imho: Benzos and ritalin... and maybe some other stuff I have not tried so far.
Neuroleptics and Srris and so forth just fuck up ur metabolism and do not really change the way u feel. Why should they? U feel the way u feel because u are the kind of person u are, u dont need to change that necessarily. U are the unique product of circumstances and your individual genome.

Some antidepressants will cause suicidal thoughts in the beginning, you have only been on it a month so please give it time to get in your system.

Ranting I suppose lol. I really thought I figured out what drugs would help (SNRIs). But nope lol. A frickin guessing game. So frustrating. I really felt like when I was Effexor and Cymbalta they were the closest I ever was to normal functioning. Aw well.
