quitting society and living a nomadic hunter gatherer lifestyle somewhere warm-ish. I once read about a guy who managed to secretly live on an island for 30 years. Amazing story. I wonder if there's anywhere that this would be possible, somewhere remote with a few natural resources. I imagine that this would be a meaningful life.

I've wanted to do that for a long time. Modern world is so artificial and it's not getting better. I would need a few people there with me otherwise I'd go more insane. I guess it would take a lot of money to get started though.

If it's not too much trouble, can I get the link to the story that you mentioned. This is actually one of my secret fantasy, escape from modern society and live peacefully in the nature.

If I had to live like that I'd be ever more suicidal. Though I'm just saying that because I don't even have enough energy to shower, let alone hunt or gather.

To me i m not interest to live alone on a long term but i m looking to live among Nature since years;it s still my plan to live a little while outside babylon before dying. I mainly wamt to Ctb for ecological reason. By the way i understood that slowly starving is a not painfull as a death but can take about a month or two!

That is indeed a interesting fantasy to have and also, for some people living in nature and just totally free of the modern world is enough for them. I myself, while I won't really be comfortable with some of the modern amenities, I still generally like to lead a quiet and simple life, basically minimalist (with the occasional entertainment) but be able to still live life on my own terms. In other words, while living on an island or out into the wilderness isn't my thing, I'd still like to live in a place where it is sparsely populated and only have human interaction whenever I choose to (not completely cut off from humans but only interacting with them once in a while).

That is my dream too, I hate this modern world it´s too complicated it would be the dream to live off nature hunting, fishing and gathering food away from anything manmade just nature.
