Ctb with ligature?

I am thinking of ways to ctb. Would tying a ligature work and if so how would you do this? Could I use something like a dressing gown belt? The reason I chose this is because SN is too difficult to get a hold of and other methods haven't worked for me. I don't have anywhere in my flat I could realistically hang myself from so thought if I could just tie something around my neck that would do the job.

Slip knot works. I got close using a bedsheet. Wound it up tight. Damaged my throat and had trouble swallowing for a week or so. My brother ended his life by using a dressing gown belt. He partially suspended himself where he was sitting down and facing forward tied to a security gage in a basement carpark. I didn't read the autopsy report but essentially he broke his neck. In a way I admire his determination to follow through. Please understand I am not encouraging you or anyone to do anything.
