46kg is underweight (unless you're very short). 20g is for a regular size, 15g for less than 60kg according to Stan. There is a table showing how much to take based on your weight from the 25:50 or 20:50 ratio but it's debatable.

@AdamDeeOVE

Information:
  • Stan says 20gX3
  • PPH says 25gX1 (updated)
  • For overweight: add 10g
  • For underweight: nothing!
    • PPH is for possibly underweight -- old & fragile
  • Failures were with 30g+

My conclusion:
  • Use 25g X 1 with 50ml water (unless over 100kg)

Re post:
  • I did not see Stan recommending 15g

This table is confusing and should be abolished:
  • SN does not show linear weight ratio as suggested here (see medical uses)
  • Increased dose compensate for large organ/blood volume (metHb) and slower metabolism
    • Such differences do not exist between 40kg or 60kg person
  • If current PPH is 25g -- I wouldn't take almost half of recommended dose
  • Measures here cause confusion
    • Without this post people wouldn't wonder or play with dosage -- yet succeed
  • Measures here are against PPH
    • For 100kg PPH says 35g , this table says 25g , wtf?
    • For 60kg PPH says 25g , this table says 19g , wtf?

@AdamDeeOVE
Thank you very much for this quote. I'm left confused. @Quarky00 mentioned 15g (Stan's way) and 20g (PPH way) in the SN FAQ a while ago:

Under 60kg *This had been suggested by some , but not confirmed.
  • PPH = 1x 20g
  • Stan = 3x 15g
* We have no evidence that special practice is required . PPH addresses old fragile people , many underweight .

I know he said it's not confirmed and more as a guess, but now the situation changed? Why?
