For those that still live with their parents or family, are you planning on doing it in there and be discovered my your family members or are you gonna do it on another place?
I would like to do it as far away from them as possible but that's very difficult for me.
Either way they will always find out sooner or later, whether by finding me or from receiving the news by the police. Don't know which is worse to be honest.
Any thoughts?

I have been watching a lot of suicide YouTube videos lately. One thing is people die alone, if it's not a "legal" suicide. You may get your parents in trouble because they maybe investigated for assisting your suicide...

I've always planned on driving my car to a secluded area and sending a delayed text so my body will be discovered the next day. I feel like CTB at your parents
house is kind of cruel (they have to find your body and look at the spot where it was every day) and impractical (they could discover you and "save" you before it's too late).

Are there any you videos you found particularly infomative you can recommend?
About the legal liability for my parents, i intend to leave a note explaining why i did it and further excluding other people from any responsability.
Also they would have to prove that my parents actually helped and had an active role in my suicide in order for it to be considered "assisted suicide", so i'm not too worried about that.
What worries my is the traumatizing shock a thing like this would cause to the person who would find the corpse.

You can leave a note all you want, they may still be investigated. They will be cleared, but still investigated

I live alone but when I was a teenager living at home I made attempts there, I didn't care at the time that my family would find me dead.

This bothers me as well. I don't worry much about being discovered in the process, because I'd do it after they were asleep. But it would devastate them to find my dead blue body, and then have to continue to live in the house where I did it. Plus, the neighbors would wonder what was up when emergency services showed up to haul me away. I don't really have the means to do it elsewhere though (poor health, no car).

Uber, motel. I know it sounds so sad. But it's for the benefit of our loved ones

I never leave the house except for doctors appointments, and my mom always drives me now that my health is garbage . And my parents are retired, so they're always around. I know it sounds kind of odd, but it would make no sense to them for me to one day say "My Uber is here, bye!" I really wish that was an option though! I'm in the process of rehoming my pets right now, which already concerns them.

I have no choice but to do it at home. I doubt my family would get investigated. All the police have to do is look at my phone full of suicidal shit and my ctb tools like ropes and SN.

Your parents sound lovely. My folks would be thrilled if I were to start divesting my belongings.

How does the rehoming process work? Who do you reach out for to rehome?

I do have great parents! I hate to do this to them, but just can't deal with the health problems that keep stacking up.

As for my pets, I have 2 parrots and used to belong to a bird club. So I started by sending the group a Facebook message saying I was too sick to care for my birds anymore. One lady recommended another Facebook group that had a network around the country that helped in rehoming birds, and another offered to foster them for me (and might have already found someone to adopt). So I just kind of lucked out for a change, because it can be tough to find good homes for parrots. I adopted both of mine, so this will unfortunately be the third home (fourth if you count the breeder) for the both of them.

A long while ago my mother said that if I wanted to kill myself I should do it somewhere else so they don't have to deal with the aftermath, so I considered doing in a hotel.

Now that I'm closer to do it, I've discarded the idea of the hotel and just do it at home because I don't trust hotel employees and as a last middle finger.

I really can't relate since I live alone, but someone I loved committed suicide in our home some years ago. It hurts yes but I still prefer that she did it in a place where she felt good and safe than alone and scared in some Hotel. Just my POV though.
About the police and a possible investigation there shouldn't be any if suicide is evident and confirmed by a doctor. Mine came, established the cause of death, completed the death certificate and called the funeral home. No police involved.

Wow that's precisely the sort of people who deserve to deal with the aftermath. I have not heard that from whom I live with, but I know perfectly well it is what they would say if they knew. Hence I am extremely set on doing it in the house. In OUR house, not theirs, and that fact will hit home only when they have to sell it up or fuck new people on a bed that a dead body shat on.

The bed that was my 'birthday present'.

I even have a crazy idea. Why don't I get a bird just before I do it, when they are away? (The bird would be fine with enough food and water for a couple of days.) They come back to dead body, live bird, and good luck getting rid of that bird.

I'm split between doing it in a very special place outside, a hotel room or my car. It really depends on the method that I settle with. If it's by gun then I'll go with the first option (best), if it's by SN/SA then hotel room, and if it's by CO/H2S then my car (worst).

I was thinking the same same thing.
Not only are they not concerned about your suicide,
then tell you to do it somewhere else so they don't have to deal with it.
Out of sight, out of mind.
Why do some people have kids, and then hate them afterward?

My mam killed herself at home. It was clearly a suicide so the police didn't investigate us
