I think the most reliable method is hanging, not unless your rope snap, or you got caugth and people you love save you. I just found out Anthony Bourdain used bathroom belt. I just wish I have the courage to endure the pain. Recently some random teenage boy used a thin nylon. I just cant imagine the pain. How they fought their SI.

By the way, thank you sasu people, you guys made me feel i am not alone. Im not the only one whos scared of the pain.

Don't fight SI, just accept it and don't forget why you are doing ctb in the first place, SI will win if you think about your past life, good memories, loved ones, not enough preparation to do ctb properly, if you still have other options, have more time and not pushed to the corner!

Thank you vinny. I havent attempted yet. But tried to wear the nooze. I havent tried squeezing. I will drink a couple of glass of vodka just enough to gain courage. I think ill do full suspension vinny.

That is so true. I overcame my SI unknowingly during my first ctb with partial hanging because I was so depressed, I wasn't thinking anything else. Failed because the electrical wire i used must have broke when I started thrashing. Ever since then I haven't been able to overcome SI because someone close to me said there are still people that love you and I can't get it out of my head

Full suspension is very reliable, and partial is very unreliable- based on many posts of failed attempts here. However, full suspension is tougher to do, and is rescued partway throlugh you can be a very disabled person but still alive. All methods have complications.

This is true, I have been binge watching wpd by hanging. And Im sorry, this may sound strange but it feels comforting to know death is only less than 5mins away... If you have your own place, no one will rescue you. Find a rope. And youre done. I saw a vid used a thin nylon.

Its just the stupid thought of "pain", SI... wish drinking alcohol will lessen the SI and gives us more courage.

Just remember why u chose to ctb, but like Vinny said all those good memories might stop u but also remember that bad times could end up being temporary and u can make more good memories in the future, even if it takes a while. Ctb isn't temporary like pain can be

I certainly admire the courage of those who attempt this method, it really makes it sound much easier when you hear of people mananging to succeed, I envy those people and I wish you the best with your plans. But of course it's true that it's like the survival instinct exists just to prolong suffering, suicide certainly should be easier.
