Cried when my bf talked about our future together

I was on a call with my bf and he started talking about how he can't wait for the day we will be married with children and we will be able to see them grow up together and grow old together also. Around a minute ago I was looking at a route to beachy head to potentially ctb. I just started crying I can't believe i'm saying i want these things when i don't even know if i'll be alive in the next month. I just hope one day i'll find what i have been looking for.

Hi roserot. Have you considered talking to him about why that might not be possible? I don't mean telling him something like your decision. Rather tell him that you don't want to talk about the future because nobody knows or something like that. Wish you all the best.

you don't have to be open. just honest. let him know that he's rushing you a bit or something along those lines.

It's difficult because i do want those things but in my head i dont feel happy with myself whatsover and i those future dreams seem too out of reach

i dont feel rushed or anything like that. It's nice imagining the future and things like that, but it seems so far and with my current state its just upsetting knowing none of that may happen
