Creating an alternative to DMC

It all comes down to Liability. For example, galaxy gas took down their entire site and stopped nitrous sales because of their "blow up" which caused many more deaths - many individuals are pointing their finger at Galaxy Gas because they were selling their "Whipped cream cartridges" to smoke shops.

The same thing applies here - if a SaSu member created a site (let's call it BusStop) that sells things like exit bags, SN, etc., the deaths connected to BusStop would of course have family , friends, and pro-life activists calling it out and that's legal trouble that would require a pretty stacked lawyer.


I think the best workaround and that's one of the members "opens their own butcher or meat curing shop" (It's commonly known SN is a curing agent for meats like bacon or beef)
to get the licensing/business requirements for suppliers, and anyone who would regularly shop on BusStop, coincidentally can develop a hobby in meat curing.

I remember a few years ago there was a scuba instructor (now at peace) who got quite a few people connected with scuba gear. Same concept.

It sure would be nice to have a couple more sources. Dmc web traffic is highest it's been too - I don't know if that's good or bad, but it's definitely a sign more people are learning about it.

I'm only just learning about it too, through this website. I can't seem to find where most people are getting their top information from though. it's hard to decipher words like DMC, CTB and SN.
I got there tho lol

It can be a personal wish of an individual, doing what they wish to help the community or whatever, doing all the work, taking full responsibility and liability, which isn't a piece of cake btw, but the site can not be involved in such activity. It's getting heat left and right for just providing a safe space to discuss suicide and things surrounding it, what do you honestly think what you're suggesting would do?

Of course, I'm not saying that it's direct selling when they think about it legally, but there was an honest seller here on ppheps who sold N, everyone was buying from him and his email was in the help booklets The same can be done on SN, that's what I'm talking about. If I create my own website, of course with the permission of the moderators, I think it would be the safer alternative. Since I'm in the Middle East, selling SN is completely legal

Honestly while your heart may be in the right place a shadow marketplace managed by the mods could subject anyone involved to RICO laws in the US and not only that but leave them subject to charges that could result from facilitating a suicide. In addition to that lets say someone fails but needs lengthy medical care, a civil suit could result in hundreds of thousands or even millions in judgments which would shut this place down.

It's a huge conflict of interest for the owner and mods of this site to offer a discussion forum and also provide a direct path to a "solution" in the form of substances that cause death. So for now, lone wolf suppliers and word of mouth is the safest bet for everyone involved.

To add: Independent sellers assume a lot of risk that I quite frankly see members abusing as evidenced by an endless stream of unnecessary posts flaunting their assumed handle or abbreviation. These type of posts lack discretion.
ie:
"I just ordered from ABC today, it's on the way!
Tracking my ABC order, it says 2 days, do you think it will arrive?
I can't wait for ABC, how about you?
Do you think ABC is a bad person?
I got ABC but now I'm having second thoughts

...etc
