With a steep fall, at least 150 metres and preferably more. Hard surface.

I'm not living anywhere close to there and I'm in poor shape, so location ... location ...

Looking for convenience. Resting in a hotel near a cliff/abyss/whatever before I make a daring jump. Or maybe something 200 metres from a railway station ...

There is no way I could properly do that when I'm exhausted, disoriented, confused ... those thing can go together. It would take guts and proper positioning.

I did post something similar earlier, I know. This is a bit specific.Someone earlier mentioned the Dachstein Skywalk, but I bet it takes a lot of effort to get there. And if I look at some pictures, you have to climb over some kind of high fence. I'd bet people would try to stop you unless you are in excellent health and can climb really quickly ? I didn't find anything on Google re: suicide Dachstein skywalk.

Do research on Norway. Plenty of high places to jump from there. Focus on the coast at the western part of country. Many fjords and mountains there. Some have easy access too. And you don't have to worry about guards, there are simply not enough people in the country to guard each high place you can jump from.

You can fly to Oslo airport and then from there fly to several destinations along the western part of country.

Jumping from height is not for me. I am too afraid. But if that was my method of choice I would be very happy. I know a good place to jump from very near a place I live.

@couldntthinkofaname ,

The heights of those fences ... hard to say. How high ? I'm not very mobile (1.86 metres), could I climb/jump over those fences quickly ? People would try to stop me. I wonder why google doesn't mention suicides. Hard surface is important of course.

Still, a very long journey, not to the approx. location but also to the exact spot.

yes at least at this place you can easily climb over. there is parking lot near it aswell - so easy accesable...the problem is probably to actually jump. i can already tell i wouldnt have the courage to jump if i stand there

I can't find a picture showing what is directly below. Trees would be bad - skydivers survived falls just because they landed luckily in trees/bushes. I'd like solid stone or concrete.

@couldntthinkofaname ,

The view is intimidating ! Something more natural would be easier. If I had such a place near me, walking distance from my home at my convenience ...moment of courage.

There are always some issues. The grass is not exactly ideal, Certainly intimidating. I recall being at a place like that once, and the idea of jumping or falling would have been scary. The logistics of the whole things (plane, train, local travel). I know the odds of actually doing that would be much greater if I could do it at a moment of my own choosing, not after a journey that is definitely over 12 hours ... Yes, when you are young , healthy and it's only mental (not intended as condescending!). There are lots of things I could have done as a 30 years old, including gutting all my main arteries if I had truly wanted to do so.

Not exactly advertised as suicide places. https://www.meinbezirk.at/spittal/c-lokales/koelnbrein-die-mauer-lebt_a1792433 Would it allow for a straight fall down ? Not so sure. Btw, I would have felt very uncomfortable with bungee jumping in the past ...

Not making excuses, but it is what it is. I'm no hero !

@Arak you are adorable. but like i already said in another thread - even if there was the possibility to just push a button and be instantly death you would find something that would bother you^^

Bro you could literally learn over those fences and fall. And also 600 feet onto grass. You will obviously die. Just get drunk as shit

What's the point of reviving a very old thread ?
I already dismissed it as not practical.

I can't even tolerate alcohol, but that's a side note. <healthy young people ...>

@311,

Dream method doesn't exist. Sodium/potassium cyanide would have worked, as would a firearm with heavy calibre bullet.

I tried to get sodium azide earlier, but since the REACH guidelines here in Europe have come into full effect it's no longer an option. Supposedly it's available in Poland but a Polish company won't sell it to me. I could have gotten it early 2018.

I did order N, but I don't have it (yet). Might be 'dream method' although I'm not quite sure if it would work, still my mosty practical bet if it ever actually arrives !
