There's a million and a half conspiracy theories in this world about pretty much everything. Things such as the moon landing being a hoax, 9-11 being an inside job, the earth being flat, and Elvis being alive. What I'm curious about are, what are some of your favorites? Are there any that you hardcore believe? Are there any that make you laugh so hard you can't breathe?

Also let's keep it light here people. If this gains any amount of discussion there's going to be a lot of back and forth disagreements.

I used to fuck around with conspiracy theorists, especially those who believe in the Illuminati. It's amazing for those who hate the Illuminati, they also want to join them and be part of the ranks.

For several years in my 20's, I was part of a cult that believed that the United States Government was controlled by a trans-dimensional being known as Lucifer.

We believed that the United States Government was going to perform a false flag operation on the power grid and begin a civil war with the populace. The U.N would come, and all survivors would be forced into a FEMA camp and they would either take the mark of the beast or face execution. We believed that 9/11 was an inside job used to justify curtailing of our rights.

I had to go through deprogramming therapy for a a long time when I go out.

I always take conspiracy theories with a grain of salt like the Illuminati/New World Order conspiracy theory. I have a theory of my own -

People in the same economic braket tend to stick together. The poor have poor friends, the middle class have middle class friends, and the rich have rich friends. All working together within their own familiar social group.

The problem is, the rich have the most power therefore do control the world. It's always been that way unfortunately. Humans evolved in a way to were the "strong" will always control the "weak". To try and change human nature is tat amount to trying to change the laws of physics. Another reason to CTB.

MK-Ultra was and is real though. Some of the more recent FOIA requests revealed it still is very much alive.

With how far the government is willing to go officially I have zero doubts they go much further in the dark. Heck, many government officials are proud of torture. The current president even publicly praises it. Not even Hitler did that.

There's one about how your social security number is actually a bank account at the Federal Reserve where they trade assets in your name or whatever. Over the years this one has gotten garbled a bit! I had a roommate there when I was a student and she (a local) very sincerely believed that UF created lovebugs in a lab somewhere and that they accidentally got released, and that's why they're such a nuisance every year. Except she mixed up the words for lovebug and mosquito so it just sounded even crazier lmao

The astronauts would have died. Also we were too concerned with beating Russia there. So to try to take the space race they just filmed it in a bunker in the southwest and fucked the whole thing up.

Well I think that there are some more or less serious issues that tend not to be adressed by society because some people created huge conspiracy theories around them and everyone sees it as a joke.

Take for example fluoride in waters. It should be a topic to be discussed and we need more reasearch on what it does to human health but now it's just gay frogs and Alex Jones memes.

"Secret" societies with huge influence on nations... that's a thing. Here in Italy we had this thing called the P2 (its members were arrested) wich had plans to push its own political agenda on the governement. It's not even a conspiracy theory, it's history.
After all if a group of people has economic, mediatic and political power there's not much it can't do.

Some other theories of course are total BS, like Flat Earth, Hitler having escaped in Argentina, and pretty much all religions.
