  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Hello Guys,

I have read many people in this group prefer CO,but why not the H2S. I assume both of them are dangerous to public, but if we can properly close the place and place the warning signs, that can be avoided. Do u guys have any ideas on why people prefer CO over H2S

I think H₂S is more painful and/or uncomfortable as well as being detectable. Yes, while both are dangerous to humans that come in contact with such gases, CO is odorless, colorless, and tasteless, which means that it isn't as detectable (unless you have a CO smoke-detector) and most importantly, people drift off to unconsciousness over time, resulting in a more comfortable, peaceful death.

Here is a video of acute H2S poisoning survivor. He talks about gasping for air. Also, H2S burnt his vocal chords. Seems it would be painful if H2S concentration was lower and he was conscious for a longer time after poisoning.

H2S has many problems.

The first, and most important, is that responders can be severely injured. It's cool if you take yourself out, but DO NOT take anyone else out with you. BTW, signs are not necessarily enough. A vehicle or tent cannot be completely sealed and sulfur will settle, leaving a yellow river below it.

Second, your body will be HAZMAT (hazardous waste.) This could seriously impact any end of life plans you have.

Third, you need a high concentration to succeed but a high concentration will burn your airways and can lead to permanent damage.

Fourth, your mouth and/or nose are likely to discolor, turning yellow and/or grey.

Fifth, if there are errors in your chemical cocktail, you may create hydrogen cyanide, which will guarantee you a spectacularly painful experience.

Please don't.

h2s is extremely dangerous for everyone. Innocent people could be seriously injured by just being in the wrong place if you don't plan it correctly. I've almost done it a few times, one time had the buckets ready to go in my car and backed off because I couldn't risk other people.
Disposed of all of the ingredients in seperate places to make sure it didn't mix.

please don't use h2s
