serious question, how effective is CO from a running car in a closed garage? and is it painless?

Most new cars have safety features that prevent or restrict the production of CO. If you had an old enough car that might do the trick. As for pain, as long as high enough CO levels are reached it should be pretty painless.

Mine is a 2005 or 2006 model. Should that work? I was planning on conducting some tests before i ctb to calculate the levels of CO to see if my garage is too ventilated to ensure the levels are high enough to finish the job.
