• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I live in an apartment with people above me. Would it put them in danger if I did the charcoal method inside?

Yes. You could maybe duct tape all around the doors and vents of a one room instead? Wet towels along bottoms of doors work too. But otherwise yes they will be at risk. And if you like in apartments there's likely multiple CO detectors anyway and trying to disable those would put someone else's life at risk..

Yes, CO indoors is deadly to others as the body cannot detect it.

Gases and liquids can seep through the tiny pores of a concrete, so CO can slowly spread through concrete walls to the adjacent rooms.
