Hi yes I watched it and am from uk. They didn't speak about the why once only on proseccuting someone. I would have filmed the why i studied film in college and know they came at it from a good heart but didn't persue the whole story because the public likley wouldnt hav ebeen able to take it, they need to water it down but they did so too much and missed the whole reason for why are there so many people with mental health in the first place? what was your take on it?

I agree they are shifting blame to this site which is cruel. I find so much help here speaking about things I can't anywhere else in society I've learnt a lot about myself and that im not alone. Just to know I'm not alone is very powerful and I'm ashamed they tried to take it away from me. I'm getting the hell outta this country soon as I can.

yeah born here sadly, ideally if money wasn't an option america like californa would be the dream. but as a life boat spain or portugal is beautiful somwhere with a warm beach without the water being a muky green you cant see in would be amazing.

UK has its problems man but alot of other places do as well. But I agree its not great at the moment.

Spain is harder to get work now with the new Brexit rules.

thats fair. were you born here also? is spain more so only good for a vacation compared to getting on track? apperantly the nicest places of the uk are wales and scotland but theres no work there or sun, at least in spain there is when when theres no work

Yes I was born in Uk.

You can only stay in Spain (or europe) for 3 months now or you need a working visa….which are harder to obtain now.

Can still be done though if you have money in the bank and maybe a profession to offer.

Happy to talk privately if you need any advice bro

Probably Spain as well, only 2 hour flight and always enjoyed it there before my life went wrong.

Fwiw I watched it on channel 4 and thought it was ok to us. Yes there was the mother asking why no one called an ambulance - understandable from a grieving mother who didn't understand this site is anonymous. The father who started the reporter onto the story - yes I found myself thinking "look closer to home" but that's part of some people's grieving process - trying to offload the anger and guilt. I thought the short glimpses of screenshots from here showed empathy and care.
When they kept referring to "the website" I assumed they were referring to KL's own website. And KL was before my time on here but I was repulsed that, if that part of the documentary can be believed, KL was on here as a member and giving his website freely as a source to all and sundry, and without declaring his connection to his own website. Saying that, I suspect his motivation was better than DMC who only seems driven by profit.
I'm gonna watch it again and see what I think the second time.
I was horrified at the rabid hysterical review of the programme by the Telegraph newspaper. Sadly (or maybe luckily for my anonymity) I have a lifetime ban from commenting to their wicked vile scum of readers.

I just didn't like it when the lady from the FBI stated that if anyone asked for help or links to hotlines , they got banned on here. Completely false!

I regularly see people helping others and giving encouragement to get help if they want it.
