CBD didn't help me, but I know couple of people that said CBD helped their anxiety in some levels. To my understanding CBD is really a hit or miss substance when it comes to the benefits of it.

I think that if you try to recover, the best thing to do is what the Psychologist / Psychiatrist suggest

Good luck! I hope you will recover

Thc works a lot better for me. My depression is nonexistent when I'm high. I wish I could always be high, but my mom hates me getting high and wants to drug test me now. I just hope she realizes what she's doing. :(

my parents are the same way but they still trust me enough to not drug test me.

I wish my mom wouldn't drug test me (technically she hasn't yet, but is threatening to). I haven't smoked since she threatened. It sucks

I have tried it, but I found that THC works much more effectively in easing my depression symptoms. Unfortunately- in my case, at least- there is a "law of diminishing returns" with weed where it's only effective up to a certain amount before the negative effects begin to surface and negate some of the benefits :\
So, I was never able to truly "cure" my depression with it

I'm here because my control freak ex demanded we quit weed...I should've quit them and said fuck you! Nothing like having a sociopath as a partner I say!

Let's be honest there is no 'magic pill' for anything in this life. Placebos work better for most things. I know CBD has proven benefits but I think those that have felt a lot of benefit from CBD are those who've exhausted every other option of dangerous medications that haven't worked.

I'm glad to see it part of society now as it's funny with small minded people like my family who think cannabis is a demon that makes you behave like a horrible crackhead.
"Yes, Dad. That new CBD even the doctor recommended to you... It comes from the cannabis plant"

I tried it and am surprised how well it works. I take it during very bad depressive episodes and its an instant cure, I shit you not. Like a curtain that is suddenly lifted.
The downside is that it only lasts a few hours, but you don't go back to very bad like you were before.

To Anyone interested I advice to get an e-cigarette and try CBD e-liquid instead of the oil as it enters your bloodstream directly. The oil never worked for me. Also make sure you get it from a legit retailer as there's lots of scam products out there.

I've also read that it helps well with PTSD episodes

Have you found any difference in brands of e-liquid ?

I thought it helped in the spring but I think it was the placebo effect. I've not been getting any positive effect from a higher dose recently so I discontinued it and don't feel any worse. These were oral capsules.

I've never found CBD to be helpful for emotional "stuff"
