In the Netherlands, a few people have died in a tent because of their throw away bbq. They haven't even prepared something. Is it just that easy or was it coincidence? Has anyone tried this method in a tent?

There are many factors, and maybe also a little bit coincidence, bad luck. I'm pretty sure if they intended to die, it wouldn't have worked. CO is also lethal in low concentrations over 6-8h for example.

I was just reading a thread by Callie Lewis she completed ctb by CO in a tent … I read it through today and it was very helpful and insightful.

Try to search for it and I hope you can find it.

I'd prefer hydrogen in a tent.
As the hydrogen fills the tent, the tent will expand and begin to fly, providing a wonderful view as I slowly slip away.
I would ensure that I had some kind of flashlight or something on a timer so that when I've 'gone', it ignites the hydrogen and causes a massive explosion.
I've always wanted to go out with a bang.

This is quite interesting. Unfortunately, I think it's hard to obtain hydrogen. I love the fact that you want to go out with a bang, I hope you will succeed!
I hope to do it in a car. Or is that not advisable?
