I am without a car or money, disabled, and getting sicker. I didn't want to do this in my home, but I have no way to get anywhere else. I'm 73 and been sick long enough. I have a large bedroom with cathedral ceilings, and old garage remodeled; but at the other end of the house is my daughter. I had thought perhaps I could light the briquettes in my bedroom in a fire burner with newspaper, open window and fan going until the smoke went out, then take it into a really small walk in closet with just room enough for me to lie down beside it, now just grey. I am a bit worried that the ceiling rises up from regular height to the cathedral; yet it is still a very tight and small area with no openings. I put the briquettes in a pail (steel?) 2 KG. I couldn't burn them outdoors because I have neighbors, if they saw smoke they may call the fire department; in my room it could be invisible in the dark to anyone in the house or outside, I hope? When the house is absolutely asleep I would lock the door and windows with a note not to enter without assistance. Can anyone tell me, please, if this sounds reasonable?
I have been reading this CO site for months, but fear so much getting it wrong. Some of the information, complete directions step by step seem to be missing now. I also wonder if I must remove all the clothes, bags, shoes, etc. from the closet. Thanks yall
