Would a lawn mower produce enough carbon monoxide? And how long would it take for a room the size of a shed to be lethal? Naturally this depends on the lawnmower and the size of the shed. But I'm wondering if anyone has done any research on this

Would be a tough way to go, very noxious irritating stuff coming out of a running mower, besides CO.

It's really not that bad if you actually like the smell of gas. It may be a bit irritating to membranes but in theory you'd pass out within a few minutes and then it shouldn't be a problem.
Or at least I hope!!

I started my generator this morning to make sure it's gonna run for my CTB. Only ran for about 25 seconds and I felt dizzy. So maybe

I've spent the past 20 years operating gas powered landscape equipment and actually quite like the smell

My concern is how long you will have to endure breathing the exhaust before you pass out. Might be a while.

I thought you were going to want to pass out from CO and then be run over by the lawnmower lol

Size of room and engine size and fuel type will dictate how long it would take. The exhaust is not pure CO, there are other substances as well like CO2, Nitrogen and water vapour amongst them. CO is a product of incomplete combustion, which does not take place in a running engine to any great extent, so the actual amounts of CO will be quite low in PPM. So its more likely you will die from oxygen starvation rather than CO poisoning. Its important to recognise the differences in the two.

I think this might be a new method I will try, I have tried using my car in the past but failed.
So I think I'm just gonna fill up my moped and Mower with full tanks of gas and drink a fifth in the meantime
while the smoke fills the shed and I pass out.

Some folks in the past have reported significant burning in their eyes from this method as well as using a generator. Might need some goggles.
