Hi everyone,
The title kinda says it all, wondering why SN doesn't cause permanent damage to organs when it deprives the body of oxygens. Thanks for the responses!

That's actually become somewhat of a myth on this site because in a lot of cases of failure people throw up so much of the sn before it has time to cause damage to the internal organs. However there have been two recent threads where people say they have had brain damage from sn attempts, including one in which a person has been worknig on recovery from this for over a year, though they still have damage. So attempts that nearly work to ctb but don't work are clearly causing very significant damage to some people, though there are several members of this site who typically jump in on any threads that are critical of sn in any way and accuse people of lying- I expect they will likely show up on this thread as well. It makes sense that something that nearly kills you but doesn't kill you has the potential t leave significant damage behind.

There is only a very narrow window that would allow for "rescue" and still result in brain damage. That is not the same as brain damage being impossible for this method. Basically, you would have to be "rescued" at the last minute of an otherwise fatal attempt. Which, unfortunately, can happen.

Try and give yourself as much time as possible without interruption, just in case.

Another way to get brain damage could be if you get maybe 70% - 80% of a fatal dose- some people reported getting damage even when they weren't rescued- they woke up sick later. Evwen though they took the recommended amount maybe the sn batch wasn't as potent as they hoped and this happened. So there is more than one way that brain damage can happen from sn. Also maybe sn affects some people more strongly than others.

One of those people got brain damage from hitting their head by falling or some shit. The other person changed their story about how much sn they took through out their thread and was inconsistent, so they lost a lot of credibility.

Thank you for posting this, I've been wondering as well. @Someone123 that's a really good argument for not taking 'old' or past dated SN, too.
